Furnace Gas Valve Works Intermittently

When the spark turns on you should be getting 24 vac applied to the gas valve when the spark turns on.

That would give you the intermittent issue. It is possible you have a problem with the gas valve. Check to see if that is happening. The rv furnace will fire up but for some reason won t stay turned on.

That may be the only problem. If it lighted and then went out it could just be a dirty flame sensor electrode bad ignition module or gas valve. My furnace finally stopped working. A technician would monitor the gas pressure on both the incoming side and the manifold side to see if you were loosing.
