Front Yard Lamp Post Not Working

We replaced the sensor. The light worked but did not turn off after a week or so now the light does not work again. I have an outdoor lamp post light that stopped working. We found the sensor was partly melted we figured from a lightening storm.

I replaced the switch hoping it would be an easy fix but no luck. I recently had work done to my front walkway. This must be a yard post light with 3 lamps. I am wondering what my next step troubleshooting should be.

If the tester does not light there is an issue with the wiring between the base and the top of the yard lamp and the wiring could need to be replaced. Candelabra bulbs are even short lived indoors and are not. If there is a photo sensor between the base of your yard light and your light fixture and the tester does not light up the photo sensor may need to be replaced.
